History
Alice was born in Casis, France, on Earth in the year 2359. An only child, she didn’t make many friends although she was well liked by her classmates in school, she did however find close ones. Her closest friend was Safiyah Brassard and the two girls grew up together exploring the hills and calanques that abounded in the countryside around their homes. They both took up sea kayaking at a fairly young age as it facilitated such explorations. During the winter time Safiyah’s parents would often organize ski trips to the Alps and on occasion to the Rocky Mountains and most of the time Alice was fortunate enough to tag along. She loved to travel and fortunately so did her parents so by the time she was 10 Alice had been all over the world, of course taking Safiyah along with her. When she was 17 Alice went on a trip of her own and while in the Rockies she decided to give white water kayaking a try. She was hooked immediately and soon set out again devoting several months to the sport.

Alice’s parents owned and operated a cafe in Casis, she worked there from early on and very much enjoyed talking to travelers and hearing their stories about foreign and exotic people and places. When she turned 15 Alice also began giving violin lessons on the side as she was an avid player, but decided that teaching wasn’t for her and gave it up after a few months. Her decision to join Starfleet when she was 18 came partially from her love of exploring and a desire to make something of herself, but also to some degree from a bet she made one night, with a tellarite who frequented her parents café.

Alice spent most of her first year at the academy trying to decide just what exactly she should be working towards. As well as the regular course load, she also took time aside to research various departments and assignments, trying to find something that would suit her tastes. She eventually made up her mind and by the time she graduated had Majored in Stellar Cartography and Minored in Exobiology with high praise from her instructors and honors. Alice was assigned to the Intrepid class starship USS Missouri shortly afterwards.

He grew up being raised by his father. He had a normal childhood until his teens when his empathic abilities emerged. Knowing he could not keep his son from the truth any longer he told Jerek of his mothers race and what had happened to her. Jerek’s inital anger about being lied to was replaced quickly by wonder about what the other side of his family was like, so he took a trip to his mothers homeworld and met her family. After a short stay though he found life on Beta-Zed much to strange for him and he went back home. Since then he had had little contact with his mothers family. During his high school days he found a love for piloting and is soon became his main goal in life. He wanted to be at the helm of a Starfleet vessel and be the best pilot to ever do so.

After Graduation he joined the academy and graduated near the top of his class in piloting and navigation. He was happy when he was assigned to the USS Starfire and quickly set off to prove he was one of the best. He was praised highly for more than a few times flying and safely recovering shuttles that when looked at by the engineers should not have been able to be recovered. Although while he was praised for his flying abilities he was also reprimanded a few times for being insubordinate when he thought he knew a better way to get somewhere. He was also held in the brig for a short time for attacking a fellow officer who made a rude statement about telepathic beings. In spite of these few incedents though he has a strong record at being an accomplished pilot and is a natural at navigating ships through the most dangerous of areas with a cool and confidant flair.
